Alcohol
Drank after a sober period? Do not turn one night into a verdict
After drinking again, people often swing between shame and denial. A factual response is more useful.
Safety first: alcohol withdrawal and withdrawal from some drugs can be medically dangerous. If you are a heavy or regular user, have had withdrawal before, or feel unwell when stopping, seek medical advice.
Record what happened
How much did you drink? What was the first decision point? What made drinking feel reasonable in that moment?
Watch withdrawal risk
If drinking has returned to heavy or regular use, do not assume abrupt stopping alone is safe.
Return quickly
If it is medically safe, make the next healthy decision now rather than waiting for a perfect date.
Use the tool: choose a realistic next interval, return and answer honestly. A NO does not erase previous choices. The timer is not a substitute for medical treatment.
