Outcomes
Recovery should have somewhere to go.
Stopping a behaviour matters. What follows matters too. Our direction is toward a person who can make decisions, maintain a workable routine and participate in life with less dependence on crisis services or the programme itself.
StabilitySafer patterns, attendance and a daily routine that can be maintained.
Health & dignityAppropriate professional support, nutrition, movement, hygiene and self-care.
RelationshipsWhere appropriate, rebuilding reliable contact with family and community.
CapabilityDocuments, CV, training, education, budgeting, practical responsibilities and confidence.
Economic participationEmployment, training or a realistic route to self-employment where appropriate to the individual.
IndependenceA life that does not require permanent dependence on Stop Dependencies.
Employment and tax contribution can be meaningful indicators of restored economic independence, but a person's dignity is not conditional on productivity. Outcomes are individual and are not guaranteed.
